Maria Castro Noboa
Program and HR Director
Maria was born in Ecuador and immigrated to San Francisco in her late childhood. As an immigrant, giving back to her community has always been a priority for her. This led her to pursue a Masters of Social Work and to work in service of others. Maria brings 10 years of experience working in San Francisco nonprofits serving underrepresented and vulnerable communities.
A process and systems thinker, Maria is passionate about bringing structure to programs to ensure sustainability and maximize impact. Her goal is to always uplift others and bring a people-centered approach to everything she does. Maria does her best work at the intersection of program management and people operations, and is excited to be able to focus on both as the Program & HR Director.
Outside of work you can find Maria spending time with the loves of her life- her husband Manny and their dog, Mila- reading a book, or eating some of her mom’s delicious Ecuadorian food.
